5th Translational Oncology Symposium

Symposium.

Dear colleagues,

the 5th Translational Oncology Symposium in Essen will take place on February 10, 2022 from 10am – 6pm CET as a virtual meeting via ZOOM.

ETOS gives us the opportunity to present current activities from Essen and Düsseldorf  in the field of Translational Oncology across all departments and institutes in order to facilitate a vibrant interacting network of researchers from the DKTK partner site Essen/Düsseldorf, WTZ and ZMB.

As our oncology network in North Rhine-Westphalia is successfully growing we warmly invite our
WTZ partner from the University of Münster and our CCCE/NCT partner from the University of Cologne to join us as participants and with their contributions.

Since November 1st Professor Martin Schuler and Professor Dirk Schadendorf have handed over the site command of DKTK Essen/Düsseldorf to

Professor Jens Siveke – spokesperson
and Professor Selma Ugurel – deputy spokesperson

We would like to invite you to present your translational cancer research and to be part of a vivid virtual meeting with live discussion as in 2021 and including exciting research from invited speakers.

The talks will be held as a virtual meeting and the poster sessions in virtual poster rooms. Spread the voice to medical and clinician scientists, doctoral students or scientists interested in translational cancer research to submit an abstract until December 19th, 2021.

And not to forget – Vivien Ullrich, our winner of the 2021 ETOS trophy award, will be delighted to hand over the “ETOS WANDERPOKAL” to the winner of the best presentation 2022!

You can register and submit abstracts under https://indico.dkfz.de/e/etos2022
You are very welcome to forward this message within the DKTK and our network partners.
